Just like my art journals, my travel art journals are very precious to me- they are tactile expressions of my travels, of my memories, of parts of my life. They get packed into the car when we have to evacuate along with the family jewels (children’s photos, passports and so on) .
And they, like me as both an artist and as a human, evolve over time. 
When I look at them I am transported back to both a specific time and place. Each one is a unique expression of this.

The two journal below are a few years apart  but overlap in place- Paris & London. I’m fascinated by the differences and evolution.
