I live in Southern Oregon with my Husband and two sons. I have been a designer for

Penny Black Inc since 2002 and I have been into arts and crafts my whole life but

when I found mixed media in 2007 I started practicing everyday and taking classes.

By 2010 I was teaching art online. I love all kinds of mediums but Watercolor is my

go to. I really love helping and sharing with others and being a part of the online

artists community.

What does Art is Magic mean to you?

To me it means you can create anything! With the right tool, skills and imagination

you can create anything. That’s pretty magical isn’t it?

What does your creative practice look like?

I join challenges, take classes, sketch a little or just find a few minutes in my day to

do anything creative. Even organizing or cleaning my art space inspires me to

create. I might find a supply, an unfinished art piece or scrap that I find interesting

to create with!

What sort of creative walls do you hit? What do you do to move through them?

I get bored really easily. When I do I look at pinterest, find a free lesson on Youtube

or take a class. This really helps. There is so much free inspiration to be had online!
