In this workshop we focus on developing a sketchbook practice around still life. However, the skills, techniques and approaches you learn can be applied to any subject matter. You will learn to work in a way that turns your sketchbook into a resource book allowing you to explore and develop your skills around colour mixing, creating texture, edges, tone and composition which will inform the work you do. You will also have opportunities to take these skill sets and apply them to paintings.
Throughout the workshop you are encouraged to make it personal to you and explore your own interests.
