Dreamscapes is all about the joy of letting go and embracing the artistic flow.
Allowing our instincts to guide us and welcoming the unexpected is a fantastic way to approach art-making. Letting your creations evolve naturally and form their own narratives is reminiscent of the way dreams unfold – full of symbolism, connections, and a touch of magic.
During this workshop, we'll explore the concept of "Dreamscapes." I've given it this name because when I create in this manner, I fall into a dream-like state where my instincts take over and guide my decisions. I love witnessing how a story unfolds in my mind as I add marks and experiment with color. My imagination attempts to make sense of all the various images and connects them into a surreal narrative, a landscape of symbols and magical events.
Regardless of your level of experience as an artist, you can always find happiness in embracing the unexpected and letting go. Dreamscapes is a 7-module online mixed media workshop that will guide you through self-exploration, playful experimentation and creative discovery.
